Challenging times for the Private banking industry

Accenture estimates that 35% of market shares are at risk, with competitors ranging from traditional banks to new entrants using digitally disruptive technology and entering the wealth management space.

An increasing number of FinTechs active in Wealth Management (+300% in the past three years) is disrupting traditional industry structures; millennials form 50% of the global workforce, creating demographic change; and the global regulatory agenda has triggered the reshoring of assets, adversely affecting the prospects for cross-border Wealth Management.

No Digital Escape

Prompted by the current pandemic, everyone realizes that there is very little choice but to finalize and offer digital-compatible solutions over the next few years.

Of course, Private banking is, by definition, about the connection between the advisor and the client and about the different types and levels of service and customized solutions that private banks and other firms can provide. But financial institutions, Wealth Managers and Asset Managers are no exception to this digital urge with two areas of interest: offer new services to existing clients or open up to new client segments.

Digital solutions will not replace the private banker but will supplement him or her in building relationships and expanding service offerings.

In this webinar, we propose you to discover how Private Banking could exploit innovation opportunities in a more transformational way by harmonizing information systems instead of replacing their infrastructure to propose new experiences to existing customers and new ones!

Fabian Bouché - with his 15 years of experience in retail banking, many of them as an architect in the IT department of a multinational French bank - will share with us his vision and the practices the banking field should tend to, in the short and medium term.
