Tinext is seeking for a Business Developer for Lausanne/Geneva Area

The candidate will work in Switzerland covering the whole French speaking area and will report directly to the Sales Director. 

International Business Developer
The International Sales Executive will be responsible of the development of customer portfolio, through acquiring target clients’ projects specifically on the Swiss French market. Strengthen the already existing clients’ relationships. Promote, manage, and measure all initiatives generating new business opportunities.
Candidates should deeply know the sector, and more specifically WCXM and the development of Digital Marketing projects, experience in negotiating projects in different industry sectors and to be able to develop autonomously commercial strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
The candidate will work in the Lausanne/Geneva Area and will report directly to the Sales Director Manager based in Tinext’s office in Morbio Inferiore.
Sales Executive Job Responsibilities
  • In charge of the commercial development of the unit, contributing to accomplish budget objectives.
  • Ability to identify and promote new business opportunities on the company’s target markets.
  • In charge of developing new business and acquiring target clients.
  • In charge of outlining new projects and defining financial proposals (in collaboration with the technical team) along with RFPs and RFIs.
Sales Executive Job Duties
  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Sells complex digital projects along with services such as consulting, Information Architecture, Web Design and UX, Hosting, Maintenance, and Project Management based on market leader software vendors by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
  • Analyses requirements and recommends implementation solutions.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • For existing clients, identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. 
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Answers to RFP/FRI, supported by the marketing/technical team.
  • Contributes to the organizational growth by accomplishing sales budget.

The candidate should have a consulting-like profile, at least 2 years of experience in a similar role in a primary digital agency or system integrator, being used to deal with international clientele.

A local network in the area (Lausanne, Geneva) will be considered preferential.

Know-how and personal requirements
  • Must come from the WEB/digital marketing sector
  • Must have experience in dealing with negotiations and sales in regards of projects with a budget over 200k
  • Past experience in sales of digital services in the area
  • A local network of relationships
  • Past experience in international contexts
  • Bachelor degree or higher
  • French mother tongue fluent English
  • The knowledge of another national language (German or Italian in this order) is a preferential requirement
  • Must understand client needs and the requirements for each and every project
  • Must have terrific relational, networking, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be autonomous and independent
  • Must prove the achievements of business goals
