Tinext developed a mobile version of Royal Caribbean's portal to favour a higher quality online browising on smartphone and tablet.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. is the world's second-largest cruise line operator, owning Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara Cruises, Pullmantur and CDF Croisières de France. With 38 operating ships and 6 more to come, the company has the newest fleet in the world.

Solution

The increasing popularity of smartphones and tablets has led Royal Caribbean to as for a mobile website oriented towards mobility and ease of use. 

The client, after analysing the most visisted sections accessed from a mobile device, has commissioned Tinext the realization of a mobile website which could make the follwing pages more accessible:

  • destinations
  • itineraries
  • photo galleries of Royal Caribbean's ships
  • photo galleries of the life on board

Solution

Tinext has realised a mobile website which has been optimised for iPhone and Android, aiming especially at improving the quality pf pictures for retina screens. 

In addition Tinext has activateda link to directly contact Royal Caribbean's call centre, so to speed up the communication between the client and the users.
