Gartner, the global leader in strategic consulting, research and analysis in the field of Information Technology with more than 60000 customers worldwide, has released this past October 21 a report with 20 leading vendors in the industry.

The Magic Quadrant provides a graphical positioning of four types of technology providers, in markets where growth is high and provider differentiation is distinct. “Leaders have the highest combined scores for Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision.

In the context of ECM, they have strong channel partners, presence in multiple regions, consistent financial performance, broad platform support and good customer support".

Gartner's work is especially interesting to discover the latest trends in the sector. “The ECM market is going through a shift, from large enterprise suites to more business solutions focused on delivering business value in specific use cases.”

The three main ECM use cases are:

  1. Transactional content management, the management of documents and information in the context of a business process;
  2. Records management and compliance, where legal and regulatory drivers require organizations to keep tight control of their information;
  3. Digital workplace scenarios, where consumerization and non-routine kinds of work have disrupted traditional content management strategy

Tinext & OpenText

To meet these needs, Tinext has been offering for several years OpenText suite-based solutions, integration with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, and the most widespread technologies nowadays commercially available.

The goal? Allow companies to put "Information Governance" at the heart of their digital transformation strategy, simplifying workflows, transforming internal and external interactions and focusing on a user experience in line with user needs. In a nutshell, accelerating their success in an increasingly digital world.
