The strong growth of recent years created the need for NetComm Suisse Association to renew and enhance its website: no longer just an info showcase, but a real business and networking platform, capable of addressing the different target groups of the Association: members, prospective members and media.

Tinext has designed and built the new website, which uses Magnolia CMS 5.4.x, with particular attention to the needs of users, in order to ensure an optimal user experience for the demanding audience of the site, but also back-end flexibility to rationalize and simplify the work of the editorial team of the Association.

Tinext CEO Stefano Zoia said, "I'm very happy with the site development of course, built very smoothly on the Magnolia CMS, and proud to be an integral part in supporting the development of e-Commerce in Switzerland".

The project

In particular, NetComm Suisse asked Tinext to design and develop a portal with the following technical and functional characteristics:

  • Back-end ease of use, possibility to manage and publish all kinds of content
  • Reserved area for members, with the ability to deliver post-event documents and reports in a dedicated way
  • Multi-step online application with a self-generated PDF for each new member
  • Member page creation, starting from the data collected by the application online, with editable fields in-page
  • Integration with NetComm social networks
  • Interactive calendar, able to give a preview of the scheduled events
  • Eventbrite integration for online purchase of tickets for events and courses

NetComm Suisse General Director, Carlo Terreni, said "The new website has been designed to offer a growing range of digital services: information, networking, data access, promotion of our member companies. This would not have been possible without the implementation of complex functionalities achieved by Tinext, which has also been able to completely renew our image".
